Tried to follow the instructions to open the awning on our new/used 2001 16' Scamp but could not get the wand to go into the hole. About half the hole is blocked by something on both sides and the wand won't move whatever it is. I hesitated to put as much pressure on the wand as I could until I could figure out what the problem is. I've attached a photo showing the hole the wand goes into. Anyone had a similar problem?
My 2014 13' Scamp started this year with a very sticky and frankly stuck silverware drawer. I contacted Scamp and they sent me the new drawer kit with bearings to install. I am not sure where to start to do this project, They said it attaches to the stove base, Do I have to take out the stove to do this? Please advise me the best way to make this modification. On the 2001 16' Scamp we just purchased the running lights come on when I turn on the headlights, however the rear tail lights do not come on. Anybody have any thoughts on that?
We have 2004 16. Every time until today it would lite. Thermostat triggers it to start up, gas in both stove burners lit fan blowing, clicking sound but no light. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I just ordered a complete set of snap caps and bases to redo the missing snap caps on the 1997 Scamp 19 from Pro-Dec.
I've counted that we'll need approx 50 of the 12/12 bases and snap caps and 35 of the 8/8 bases and snap caps. I ordered the off-white snap cap which blends better with older gelcoats.

Ok, our first outing with the Scamp for 2015. Trivial problem to some but not to me. The control switch for the 110v (green switch) will not shut off and stay off. I did not know this until the start of our trip when I wanted to switch over from 110v to 12v battery. Well the green control switch will not stay off?? I was unsure of what to heck to do now. Here are my trivial concerns:
Could someone post the correct type, size and length of aluminum rivets (with part numbers if possible) for a '98 Scamp 16 and the best place to get them either in the US or here in Canada?
