I have a 2014 13'
I’ve been having trouble with the double light over the galley. A couple of months after I got her, the light started having trouble. First it wouldn’t come on right away; would wait a while, then come on. Gradually that “while” got longer and longer, so that now it doesn’t come on at all.
Hello I'm a newbie here! I have recently purchased a 1984 16' Scamp and need to replace the vent as it is leaking. My question is should I use rivets or screws for the new vent? Any input would be appreciated! Thank you!
Hi, I was wondering how many have had a lot of experience with the E-Z Lube system of the spindle/axles... I hear that they leak out of the rear seal and I've heard from others they are great and they hadn't have any problems.. Something to remember, these are NOT Buddy Bearings!!! The Buddy Bearing system simply pushes grease through the first bearing, etc... I do know that with Buddy Bearings, if you push hard enough with the grease gun, you can blow the rear seal simply because of the pressure and that it has no place to go but out the rear seal...
I have a new Scamp that has outside water come through outside vents for refrigerator. Rain water appears to get blown into or splash up through the openings of the vents and accumulates on the board that supports the refrigerator controls. From there it runs in under the refrigerator onto the floor of the scamp. Anyone have this problem? Any solutions?
I noticed two acorn nuts at the top of the clothes closet were loose and I could move them up and down. So I inspected them on the roof and could pull them up about an eighth of an inch. I know water could get in if I were to be in the rain. So I removed the rivets and replaced them with #10-24 x 1" Stainless steel machine screws. The rivets from the factory use acorn nuts as bucking. Photo #1 shows the location of the two rivets and photo #2 is a close up to show that rivets used were too long to snug up.
Hi, we have a 2008 13 feet Scamp since last year. We are having a problem with the over the counter window that leaks. Has anyone had a similar problem and how did you correct it? Have a great day! Danielle & Guy
Hi All: Thanks for your help in solving a sulfur smell in our water heater and tank! Your advice really helped a lot. NOW we are having problems lighting the propane pilot for the refrigerator once we get into a campground without hookups.
