I am replacing my propane line to my stove. i have an old heater that im not sure about keeping yet...but wanted to see if anyone could recommend a solution where I can split the flex line (new) and send 1 pig tail to the stove and cap the other off, in case i wanted to install the heater. Thought?S thanks!
I have a decision to make. We have removed all of the old nasty yellow seem tape and primed the ensolite with zinnser and will paint final color with a good Latex
The decision is caulk or seam tape. The seam tape will definitely be painted over once applied. I wonder how it will hold up with the paint on it. If I caulk, any recommendations on caulk? I’ll be painting over it, FYI. Thanks!
My new to me 1981 13 SCAMP needs new covers for the cushions. The only option online from scamp are 3 colors at 390 for the set. Anyone have any good options for custom seamstresses that know scamps well enough for it not to be a huge project?
I've been looking for LED lights for my new to me 1981 scamp. There is 1 missing and the other is a 7' round wedding cake light. The LED 7in round bus light seems really high at almost $35/each. Anyone have any luck with cheaper options they are happy with?
Bought a used 2005 Scamp 19, and it has a canoe rack we want to remove (we don't have a canoe, and we're getting rain through at least one of the mounts). Any recommendations for filling/repairing the holes? Lots of rainy weather here, and no garage for it, so we either need to fix it fast or take it to someone (but who? --the trailer repair place here doesn't do fiberglass). Thanks for any advice!
I was driving my 1987 13 foot Scamp across ND in high winds and rains all day. I pulled into Spirit Lake CG and my front cushions were socked as well as the front storage areas and side closet. Wet wet wet. It took two days to dry out the cushions and I;m using plastic bags for all my clothing. I think the rain is coming through the original trim loc around the front window, I think the rivets are leaking and maybe the under carriage needs a coat of something? It's a mess.
My wife and I are new to owning a Scamp. We gutted it and built out a new interior - sliding track door/room where the front bunks used to be, removed the range/sink and built a crib, and cut into the cupboard above the A/C and made a countertop. We will eventually move the A/C to be below the crib and add a sink in the new countertop.
Took delivery of my 16' Scamp this weekend (Birmingham, Alabama). Not planning on camping until I take off to Arizona in January. If I don't fill it up with water (empty tanks and lines), do I still need to put antifreeze in the lines to winterize? It's not that cold in Alabama, but we definitely will get below freezing weather in December and January. Thanks.
