UBlack water tank cleaning

Forums:

I found a post from a few years back on this topic but little else.  I want to give the shallow black water tank on my 2023 16' Scamp a good cleaning.  In the post I found Pinky recommended this;

While another poster thought it didn't work as intended because of the shallowness of the Scamp black water tank.  I'm wonder if it wouldn't work 'good enough' or there are any other recomendations at this point.

Small leak from bunk hinge

Forums:

During the last rainstorm, I noticed a small leak of water coming into our 2015 Scamp 16 from the hinge point under the top bunk. The location of the bunk hinge leak was the one furthest from the door (drivers side). I'm curious if anyone else has had this issue. The only place I can think of this originating from is the clasp area for the window rock guard on the front. Not sure if I need to seal that up or what. Thanks for your help.

Entire Black tank piping fell off!

Forums:

Last night I was trying to open the cap on the black tank. It was not budging, my Scamp is new and the grey and black tank caps are incredibly tight. I gave another twist on the cap and instead of the cap coming of THE  ENTIRE BLACK TANK PIPE came off the Scamp leaving me holding the entire mechanism that connects directly to the tank in my hands along with all of the black water.
What glue/cement do I use to glue the pipe back into the tube connected to the tank? Can I do this myself or do I need a plumber?

Fridge not working on 110 volts

Forums:

On a trip this summer, the Dometic RM2193 refrigerator stopped working on shore power.  It works fine on 12 volts and propane.  I suspect it could be the 110 volt heater probe, since the chimney does not get hot.  Before I dig into this further, are there any fuses or breakers I need to check?  The breakers on the main panel are all on...I didn't know if there are any other breakers/fuses on the refrigerator itself.

Bearing service

Forums:

Hi folks,

I have a 2021 13'. First trip was ~ March 2021. It's now been nearly 3.5 years and the trailer has some 10,000 miles or so on it. The bearings have not had any maintenance. My bad. I've not noticed any issues and have not noticed any excess heat from the wheels. I do check when I stop, but have not specifically done the "touch the hub" routine mentioned in other posts.
