Does anyone know what purpose the wax ring under the toilet tank serves on the Scamp? I just disassembled my toilet and the wax ring doesn't look to have anything to do isolating the black water as it would in a house toilet installation.
I have attached a picture of the bottom of the black water (toilet) tank. The drain pipe threads directly into the bottom of the tank. The wax ring is external to that connection.
So you don't have a barn to store your Scamp during the off season? Me neither! Here's an inexpensive alternative that solves a common moisture problem. The issue is that with a cover that lies directly on the trailer shell, moisture from leaks or condensation remains between the two surfaces and can lead to mold or other undesirable growth.
We think the Dometic 2.0 CRX65 refrigerator (only 1 year old) in my 2023 13 standard Scamp needs either a new thermistor or circuit board. It runs occasionally then shuts off and so on and so on. The compressor light turns orange, as does the service light. It doesn't run long enough to keep anything cold. I've watched videos on how to replace both of these parts but I cannot find any parts. Dometic's website is no help. Scamp doesn't know what's going on with it either. Does anyone have an online source? It is still u
Looking for creative ideas/materials to replace warped door on clothes closet 2016 13'. Hinges in fiberglass are tight. Top hinge pulled out of the door.

The kitchen window on our 2022 13' Scamp has always been stiff and hard to open and close. While we were camping this past weekend it got stuck closed and will not budge. Any suggestions? I have tried cleaning it and lubricating the track with silicon. Helped a little, but not much. I would like to take it apart and see what is making it bind up. Are there any resources that show how to do that? Thanks in advance.
Our 2007 13' dinette/bed cushions have developed a moldy smell. The covers were replaced ~ five years ago, the age of the foam is unknown. Although there is no evidence of water contact, we find condensation on the table top in the morning. In other words, vapor is passing through from us to the table top below. We plan to clean the covers, but would appreciate information on how to do that - dry clean, tumble washing machine? Should we put down a vapor barrier sheet before making up the bed? Any advice will be welcome.
Does anyone have a 1989 19 Scamp and have the serial number and model number for the original installed Sealand Toilet. We need to do some repairs but the sticker is missing so getting replacement parts has been difficult. Any assistance either with the Sealand numbers or appropriate kit would be gratefully appreciated.
I'm in need of several miscellaneous replacement parts for my 2014 13' Scamp and Scamp informs me they don't have those parts--which I find a little unsettling. Does anyone have a good resource? In particular I need:
