The gravel shield for my 2013 (Layout 6) 13' gravel shield has discolored for no reason I can think of (photo attached). It appears the size I need is not available in the Parts store.
Has anyone else had this issue, or otherwise replaced the guard? I looked on ebay, etc. but no joy.
My 1991 Scamp has an RM2202 fridge and i need a new jet. It looks like a small pressed cap. Does anyone know where to find one? FYI, if you cant get your jet clean by using alcohol or such, the best thing to do is to burn it clean. Wish i new that before i tried to push mine out....
At some point while leaving a dispersed camping area, I lost the whole grey water tank discharge apparatus. In hindsight, I think I hit a rock while leaving the campsite (not the first time haha). I'm wondering if someone can help me out in determining what parts I need to order to replace this system. Thanks in advance for any help! Picture of the damage:
It seems the time has come to replace my Scamp Battery. It's been a little low lately and just now, mid-trip, it started beeping at me and dropping consistently. I was wondering about an upgrade to a Lithium battery.
was wondering what you'd recommend and if it would be plug&play?
Until, I'm going to hook up a generator and try to get some charge on it to get me through the next couple of days. If I do this, does the DC switch need to be on to get the charge or will it charge it either way?
My black water discharge outlet swivels. I can position it so it is straight out the side or point to the back. Probably could swivel 360. Is this normal?
The barb for the sink drain input to the gray water tank broke off. I have been looking for what part I need to fix this but cannot find anything. Does anyone know what part I need?
Does anyone have any solutions to viewing the water level in the fresh water tank in a 2007 Scamp? I've read one suggestion of shining a flashlight on the side of the tank. Any other suggestions?
Two weeks ago, while plugged into 120V at a campsite, our 2012 16' Deluxe totally lost power and went into total darkness. This lasted for a minute or two before lights came back on. My initial expectation was that the campground lost power, coupled with our 12V battery either already being dead (due to charging failure) or cut off due to a blown fuse. But we just couldn't figure out what happened. No circuitbreakers had tripped, no fuses had blown, and the 12V battery was fully charged. (We travel with a voltmeter thanks to a problem with the towing harne
