New stinky slinky tube

I bought a tube to hold a longer sewer hose. The Scamp has a 26" long tube mounted on it that hardly fits a ten foot hose in it. I found an adjustable tube from dwincorp.com that I could mount across the frame behind the gray water tank. It is now 58" long and a little larger diameter.

Before starting:

Positioning it tied to a 2 x 4 for support:

Notice there are three tube brackets, I purchased one extra, two for the frame and one near the exit side that will need a wood spacer.

This is the end that will need a spacer:

Here it is fastened to the frame:

Here is the spacer in place:

Done:

A link to the supplier: http://www.dwincorp.com/products/125/NEW-SUPER-SLIDER-Adjustable-SUPER-TUBE

It should hold a 15 to 20' hose

Now I have to finish installing the new door seal, I spent a few hours yesterday removing the old foam seal.

Clearance

I don't know, I have it up on jacks, It is level with the gray water tank so I'm not worried.

ground clearance

KVJ, my real questions was going to be does the tube hang below the tank? Next time I'll go with the original.

I like the idea, wondering if I could do it on the drive home from Backus?

Thanks.
