This rally is held at Riverbend Campground in the Northeast Georgia mountain community of Hiawassee and is open to any brand of molded fiberglass camper.  We would love to have more Scamps in attendance.  Right now it is about half Casita with Scamp coming in at a close second.  Many other brands are on the roster as well.  To sign up for this rally call Riverbend Campground at 706-896-1415 to book your site.  Then go to our rally group page (see below) and add your site number to the comments in the post "ROLL CALL" along with your camper make/model.

RALLY UPDATE DETAILS: We are approaching 90 registered trailers at this time with approximately 75 days until the rally. With spring fever approaching I expect participation to rise. All hook up sites are full, however, there is a huge gravel area and field available for dry campers at $10/day. If you have a medical need such as a CPAP machine, generators will be permitted in the dry camping area away from other hookup sites to accommodate those individuals with medical needs.

IMPORTANT: The Riverbend Campground office is managing the waiting list in the event of a cancellation for a hook up site. If you should cancel please contact Riverbend rather than tell someone else they can have your site because someone may already be ahead of them on the waiting list. If someone wants your site please tell them to contact Riverbend Campground to be placed on the waiting list. I cannot be responsible for conflicts due to promising someone else your cancelled site.

Details regarding the rally T-shirts will be announced in the coming weeks as we decided on the shirt color for this year. There will be a separate post at that time about the t-shirts here in this group with instructions on ordering.

The fish fry will be at 6:00 PM on Thursday 5/31. The campground is providing the fish and hush puppies. Everyone attending the fish fry should plan on bringing something to share. I will coordinate the list of side dishes/things brought so that we don't have a lot of redundancy. I believe the best way to do this will be for everyone to send me a private email of what you intend to bring and I will add it to the list. If someone offers the same item as someone else already on the list I will contact the person back to let them know should they decide to do something different so we don't have 85 sets of paper plates or baked beans :-)

Bill Jones will not be attending this year and he usually brings a cake with the rally logo on it. If someone would like to do that this year contact me for the logo.

The Open House event and voting for the Campers Choice Awards will be on Friday 12-4 and Saturday 12-4. You will be provided with a sign to display if you want to show your camper during the open house. Non-rally participants that wish to view participating campers can visit on Saturday between 12 and 2 and must check in with the hosts to get a visitor pass. Only registered campers can vote for the Campers Choice Awards (each person staying in your camper will receive a ballot). Categories for the Campers Choice Awards will be announced at the Fish Fry.

There will be a Pot Luck dinner on Saturday at 6 PM and no food list will be managed for this (hence the term "pot luck") so just plan on bringing what you want and some to share. The Campers Choice Awards will be presented immediately following the Pot Luck.

We encourage smaller groups to cook & dine together as well as group camp fires in the evenings through out the rally. Campfires must be inside fire rings so if you are dry camping you may want to join one of the group campfires in the hook up section.
