Post #10 above said the weight in the back made the 5er tow differently. I've towed many types of trailers over the years but never a "goose neck" and that comment also seemed interesting to me unless the trailer tires were under inflated and/or the hitch weight was under 400#s. My issue is there's really no place to securely store and WX proof necessary gear in a Scamp. The truck bed (Canyon) is short and will contain the things that can get wet. I want to get away from hauling gear filled plastic boxes in and out of the trailer and then leaving them around the campsite as I've had to do with our other small camper.
Since returning from the factory and having a hitch receiver welded on, we are now thinking of a caged carrying device for the rear of the trailer. Not sure at this point what we would carry in it, but time will tell us.
How is it that you have ordered a 19 ft. Scamp, which we know is a 5th wheel model, why would you then be concerned with trailer sway?

Any input will be greatly appreciated.
