Spotted..by others!

Hi, Brand new to this site and loving it! Our first road trip with our new Scamp was Sept, 2012, a month after we got it. We ventured to Shenanhoah Nat'l Park (from NJ) and I can't count how many times along the way we were beeped at on the road! We were approahed at rest stops, and gave many tours. By the time we arrived I'd say we easily had added 2 hours to the overall trip due to talking with people who were very curious about our little camper...at the last stop before climbing the mountain we actually had a small crowd waiting to see inside!! We have only seen one other on the road this past summer. We have had a few folks come to our house to look at it as well. We LOVE this camper!!

The Scamp

we have experienced the same! We even had a guy next to us one day wanting to sell his big rig and get a Scamp, once he saw inside. Scamps are so unique and so cute that folks just cannot pass by without asking to see inside!

Always

It kinda goes along with owning a Scamp or a Casita,we always have people at gas stations, cafes, roadside parks, you name it wanting to see the Scamp, now we have picked up the new Casita and barely got 200 miles north of the factory and was sitting in the truck and some couple stopped and asked to see the inside....we of course always get out and let them look around, who knows, when they could be the next new person to order one:-)

That's great Launey! We so

That's great Launey! We so love to show off our Scamp and see the look on folks faces when they step inside. Our little trailers are so unique. So happy for you that you now have a new hotel just feet behind you! We anxiously await new pictures !

Eggs Sighting

Driving through Texas, on our way back to Florida, after Thanksgiving,  we spotted lots of Casitas all sitting in one place. Turned out, we were passing the Casita Hatchery along I 45.

As Always,

Happy Scamping !!!!

Egg Sightings - Texas & Louisiana

We've had two egg sightings since we've been on the road. One on Galveston Island, Texas (a really cute Scamp 13 with customized Scamp logo and matching curtains) and one on LA 1 on our way to Grande Isle, Louisiana (a fifth wheel parked outside of a house). Such fun to see other Scamps out there on the road!

Sightings

I just finished a three week trip with the Scamp from CO to MT, across the Beartooth Pass into Yellowstone, into the Tetons and then on to Sinks Canyon outside of Lander, WY and back to CO.  So many Scamp sightings in all these places I lost count!!  I saw all sizes and some that have been painted different colors.
