hanging hose question

We just noticed that this hose seems to be hanging kind of low under the trailer.   Does anyone know if this is the way it is supposed to be, or should we figure out how to raise it up and fasten it to the frame somehow?  Seems to be the hose leading from the shower drain pump.

Hose

Definitely looks to be the shower pump. Looks like you could just pull the hose off and trim it down a bit which should get it in a less vulnerable position.

Hose Slack

That is too much slack in the hose. The hose connects to a plastic hose barb on the rear of the grey water tank. You might want to check to make sure it has not come loose from the rear of the grey water tank. Above the slack hose in the front there is usually a 1" (I think) EMT clamp that is screwed into the bottom of the wood floor to hold the hose up. The screw and clamp may have come come loose and fallen off the trailer. You should see the same style clamps holding the hose to the outside of the trailer frame.

Hanging hose

Going how mine is, it looks like you could simply cut it shorter but still having a little play for road vibrations allowances. I don't think it needs a clamp but just making the hose shorter. Look at my picture attached here for possibilities...

On mine, I put hose insulation to protect the hose for road sand (I don't know if that really makes a difference but did it anyway).
