I know this could be answered several other places, but I saw your spiffy new awning and I've been meaning to ask someone...
When the factory attaches an awning, how do they attach it?
I've been trying to convince my folks that a "camper warming present" is a real thing and wouldn't an awning be a swell one? Help me seal the deal would ya? ;)
OK, as you know, I went to the factory. The guys up there are amazing. I got FREE installation. The new Fiama F45S awning requires 3 attach feet. They were very careful to make sure all attach points were behind cabinets. They also applied white sealant to all bolt tops for a finished look and to assure things stay dry. They did an amazing job, and took just 45 minutes, but took 2 guys to do it. They knew just where to put the feet so that they would be attached with hardware that ended up behind cabinets. It was really worth the drive for that alone. As my previous posts showed, I got much more done than that!
