Another Newbie inquiry...sorry,
We are looking at the possibility of driving up to Seattle to visit family. Been told we can plug into household current and fill our fresh water tanks once we arrive. My question is where do you dump your black and gray water tanks before heading home? We've read that you should not drive any distance with full tanks but where do you dump? What kind of facilities are available on the road?
In the resources/campgrounds section at the bottom is an RV Dump station locator.
All KOAs charge a fee to dump only and many other campgrounds do as well. You can open the sewer knockouts at the house if they are close enough to reach with the hose, just be careful,or your friends/relatives may not invite you back.

Thanks so much for the response. I checked out the link...it was very informative. I'm thinking we will be using it as a reference down the road.
Once I stopped to think about our current issue just now , with the help of my neighbor who has a motorhome, (I was outside looking for our sewer knockout and he asked me what I was doing) I came to the conclusion that an overnight at a house that has a fully functional bathroom probably wouldn't require the use of the trailer plumbing at all. DUH! Sometimes I wonder about myself...
