Can anyone tell me the diameter of the bunk support poles? I'm picking up my layout 4 this week and want to make some PVC rails for the top bunk before my 4 year old sleeps up there. I'm trying to do this simple rail and I think I need 1 in PVC pipe to fit around the support poles. Does that sound right?

Bunk Rail Modification
scamp pole is 7/8" outside diameter. my PVC is INSIDE diameter 1". also remember the top of the PVC part can only be 5 inches above the mattress, that's the height by which its safe. any higher and it's unsafe.
whomever originally thought of this is a genius, it has worked wonderfully for my son who's on top bunk.
