Our 1980 16' needs a window covering on the door! I noticed curtain rods on the scamp site, but unsure how to install. Any suggestions, or other recommendations?
You can see shadows moving, provides good privacy from outside as well. The amount of light you want to let in depends on the pattern you choose. It holds up very well, been on the trailers now for quite awhile. You'll also get a good bit more than you need so if for some reason it got damaged just cut a new piece, soapy water, squeegee and done.
In similar situations I have seen long springs like the old screen door springs used. All you would need is two small hooks,( 3M?). One on each side of the window to hook the spring to. You could do the same to hold the bottom down. Our 2015 13 Scamp has a curtain rod at both the top and bottom for the door curtain. Bungee cords could be used in place of springs too. You can buy shock cord by the foot at a hardware store. Use the little metal crimp clamps, also available at the hardware store to form a small loop in each end to put over the hooks on the door. That would look nicer than the big bulky regular bungee cord hooks. Other folks have put decorative contact paper on the door window in place of the curtain which would also give you privacy. But we like to be able to look out that window sometimes. Just some other ideas. Good Luck
How about Stained Glass Film?

Easy to do, comes out really nice.
I've done this on two trailers now here is the other one. Actually, I had a helper on this one.

I have seen the 3M Command hooks used very well too, at the top and bottom of the window frame

Thanks for all the great ideas!
Can you see out of the stained glass? Does it hold up well long term?
