Whe we picked up our new 13 footer, LEDS were not available installed. We bought the LED bulbs that were available at the parts store and installed them before we left the factory. We installed them at the factory just incase there was a polarity issue.
Under the Resources Tab, at the top of the page, is the "Solar for Scamps" section. If you read through Step Two, you will find all the information you need about LED Bulbs. You can also read everything you need to know about choosing Solar Panels and the benefits of Portable vs Fixed panels.
Also, (in response to another of your postings) you might want to read "Buying Solar -- One Man's Journey"
Way better than any of the portable shade devices out there.
Just FYI, the awning weight whether attached or carried will still count against your tow limitations. A clam shelter will be lighter than an attached awning for sure, but still goes in the total.

In an effort to keep my tow weight down, I opted to forgo an attached awning.
I am going to keep a 6x6 pop-up awning and use it as needed. Thoughts?

I would highly recommend going with the clam shelter recommended in this post.
