Ours is on order, but my first sighting got me so off guard and excited I created a bit of chaos for spouse that was driving. I'm "hey, hey, hey" trying to get his attention. It was rolling down Hwy 169 in the Rogers/Elk River area of MN. Going up north to the lake, or to the hatchery in Bacus perhaps. Have a great time road warriors! Can hardly wait to join you and the others. Barb
Just completed a 5000 mi + vacation from central Illinois to the west coast and saw a few eggs. Took the car this trip. First Scamp was a 19' on I-84 outside of Pendleton OR. Saw a 16' south of Portland OR on I-5. Last scamp i saw was a 13' outside of Ogallala NE on I-80. We saw a few casitas, a couple of bigfoots, and a uhaul camper along the way.
During our 2500+ mile trip we saw several fiberglass campers. The first was a Scamp 16 on Interstate 57 south of Champaign, IL, 45 miles from home. We saw a total of 12 fiberglass trailers on the road. 7 Scamps, 3 Casitas, 1 Escape and 1 Burro. We also stopped by Backus. Several new Scamps were waiting for their new home. We saw our 19 we sold, waiting for a new refrigerator. Small world.
We are headed out again this weekend. Maybe we will see some more "eggs".
Besides my own I saw a 13ft Scamp at Stony Creek national forest campground in Minnesota. I hope to see a bunch at the annual Ohio Fiberglass Rally this weekend (09/23 - 09/25)
Mid-September near Albertville, Wisconsin, I invited local ham radio operators to a weekend of free camping and it turned into a mini-Scamp rally. Check out ac0gv on Face book. September 19 at 2:25pm ·

Saw a precious, shiny, 13' Scamp in a campground near Allenspark, CO. My dull one (for the moment) was parked at another campground in the area!
