While bringing our Lance back home from the Wisconsin Dells we saw many Casitas and now our very first Scamp northbound on highway 39. Also at the campground we stayed at, a aged 13 ft. Scamp was in front of a residence.
We had three Scamps camping in at Muskallonge Lake in da UP of Michigan earlier this month. We met two of the families, but i missed the owners of a sweet newer 13'. Always fun to meet fellow Scampers!
We were camping in Fort Wilkins State park in Copper Harbor Michigan. Spotted a 16' deluxe scamp and a 13' deluxe scamp. We have a 13' deluxe scamp also. Most deluxe scamps I seen in one campground at a time. This was on August 27th..
Three weeks ago we were driving thru Kentland Indiana and ran into a couple with a 1984 13 foot and had a chance to see theirs and talk about in the rain. and a couple hours later we ran into another couple at Turkey Run Indiana with another 13. and had a great talk with them too. Nice group of folks. We then saw 2 Casitas waiting to use the dump station. It was a regular Egg weekend.
I saw a Scamp 13 in Joshua Tree National Park - Cottonwood Campground Loop A with Washington plates...it was about 2 sites away from me. First Scamp I have ever seen anywhere other than the factory in Backus. When I got home there was a Scamp just a couple of slots from me where I store my trailer - when I had keft home, mine was the only Scamp they had ever had!
Well it finally happened. Exactly one year and one month from the day we drove out to Backus to pick up our new Scamp trailer, we saw another Scamp. It was a mom, dad and two young kids in a 13 footer, camping at Muddy Run State Park, Holtwood, PA. We chit chat for a bit about our experiences with our Scamps and had a few non-Scamp owners scratching their heads and wondering what the fuss was all about. I guess it's like they say. You would have to own one to understand.

While pulling my Scamp 16 through Nevada with my Tacoma a few days ago, I was passed by a....Scamp 13 being towed by a Tacoma.
The cool kids play outside.
Tom, maybe you entered an alternate universe out there in NV and passed yourself? It is Halloween.
