Battery and Hydrolic lift

I have a lift that runs off the 12 volt battery. It is fine going down, but won't go up. Could it be that the battery is bad and not supplying enough juice? I am stranded  because I can't get the trailer off my truck!

Hydraulic Lift Stuck

It could be that your battery is not strong enough to lift your trailer. Try this, plug your 7-pin connector into the trailer and leave the engine running on your Tow Vehicle. This will supply 12 volts from your TV to your trailer and should let you know if the battery is bad.

Good luck !!1

As Always,

Happy Scamping !!!

Tongue Jack?

Not sure if you're referring to hydraulic lift and it's a power tongue jack. If so, all power tongue jacks have a manual override usually located in the top of the jack that works with a supplied manual handle or you can sometimes use a socket wrench. Some more details and brand of the jack I could tell exactly how the manual crank works.

Most power tongue jack issues are the switch or the ground. The switches will need replacement from time to time. These are common switches and can be found on amazon and sometimes the depot or Ace. Could need maintenance and lubrication as well which should be done every 12-18 months.
