Looking for one rear stabilizer for a 2004 13 ft Scamp. The inside must have fallen out at some point? So it's missing the part with the plate that releases to stabilize. I really can't imagine how it came out and when and I pity the person who might have run onto it on some road!! Any thoughts?

Rear Stabilizer
To get the part you need only you may need to call Scamp. E-trailer has lots of choices if you chose to replace the complete jack.

Thanks for this link. I looked on the Scamp parts page and only saw the new stabilizer that doesn't work like mine--I'll give them a call--I just figured maybe they didn't have the old stuff anymore! But I'll check things out on this site, too!!
Hello Barb, I looked outside at the stabilizers on my 2004 and I assume they are most probably the same kind. The lower part, the one that touches the ground, cannot be fully detached (slid out), unless the mating (upper part) is damaged. There is a feature that stops it when fully extended. I would call Scamp and ask if they have any of those old style stabilizers somewhere on their lot. They might.
Did you get the rain leak problem resolved?

I'm not certain that the "much" older Scamps had different stabilizers than my 2017, but if they are the same, then I found exact replacements on Amazon. A 2-pack of the bolt on units is less than $30. The part number I got was 1319410-1622-2PK. Hope that helps!
