I recently purchased a 1988 Scamp 16 Deluxe. There is floor rot beneath the bathroom and the door. I watched a few videos on youtube that involved removing the shell from the frame to fix the floor. I am not capable of doing such a repair. Does anyone have ideas on how to add support to the right and left side of the Scamp without a complete dismantling of the shell? Could I weld support brackets from the frame to help support the fiberglass sides? Again, I am capable of minor repairs but would have to hire someone to do a major repair and I do not want to go over budget on this Scamp. Thanks for any suggestions.
