I would not attach a ladder to the back of my Scamp, but what I did do was purchase a GP Logistics folding ladder after seeing Jon Vermilye's ladder at a rally. I have the 5' version, and it folds to a small package less than 5" x 5" x length of the ladder. Originally I carried it in the back of my short bed pickup in a 5" x 5" PVC tube (I got the 5' version because my truck bed was only 5'4")
I have since mounted a 5x5 square tube under the front of our Scamp to carry the ladder in. That way I always have it with me whichever tow vehicle I happen to be using. Very sturdy and a great addition.
I've uploaded a photo that shows the ladder open and folded up.
Probably not. No molded fiberglass trailer roof should ever be walked on as it will crack the gel coat at a minimum.
