We have a 16' layout 6 Scamp with a forward bath. The corner sink has a faucet with a shower diverter for a hand held shower. Because the original shower diverter broke, I recently replaced the faucet with a new one purchased through Scamp. I have installed the new faucet which now has a leak under the sink on the hot water side. I removed the sink, installed the faucet without the sink and have no leaking. I pulled it apart, installed the sink back on the wall and reattached the plumbing H&C water lines. Leaking again occurring at the hot water line. The alignment of the PEX 1/2" hot water line coming through the wall doesn't line up exactly with the threaded elbow attached to the underside of the sink faucet. I do believe the threads are matched and not cross threaded however. Any thoughts as to why this slow leak (enough to cause the water pump to cycle every 10 to 15 minutes) is occurring?

Bath sink leak
See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CfjhiV-cMxI
The insert I'm referring to is shown at 1:32 on the video. If the insert is missing, side force on the PEX tubing will tend to make it leak -- There's an o-ring inside the fitting that does the sealing, and the tubing must stay very round for it to seal.
Another possibility is needing to use teflon tape on the pipe threads. I'll bet it's hard to see exactly where the leak is!
