Folks have been known to wake up to a singing flower about 5 am
It's birds here that awaken us. We have a bird sanctuary in our back yard!

We are really sad that we arent going to be at the Mn meet but doc appointments in the middle of the week take care of that, once a year and it happens to be on that date,oh well, hopefully next year. Sounds like its going to be a great time to be enjoyed and I am sorry that we're going to miss that playing music, running naked with hair on fire :-). We drink coffee, but not at 5:30 am,Well not unless we have been up all night, and that happens not very often anymore at our age! ha

Sure wish you could change your appointments. We will miss you!

We probably could have changed these appointments if it wasnt really our yearly checkups and hubby really needs to be seen...He;s a colon cancer surviver and I want to make good and sure he is in the bestest of health:-) So I can have him for another 54 years ha. So just wishing everyone has a great time, meeting and making new friends and btw your tv install looks super and I am sure you and your bride will really enjoy watching movies at night on it

FYI for anyone who's been wondering how to carry food for potluck and other gatherings - I just talked with Eagle Cliff camp to confirm some driving directions and also asked about food storage for those of us with postage stamp size campers. They're not quite completed with the shelter but will have a roof and tables for us, fridge and hookups for crock pots. Lanesboro doesn't have a grocery store (probably just convenience stores?) but Preston, 10 miles past Lanesboro, has an IGA.
There are about 37 Scamps registered for Lanesboro as of today (Saturday).

I too a a cancer survivor! I had prostrate cancer and had it removed last November. Took about 100 days to fairly recover. Doing well now! I am truly blessed as blood tests now show NO CANCER! Dedicating this entire year to be cancer free !!
