I am excited to meet you all there so I hope I can manage to get my egg greased and ready to go. It should be lots of fun and i hope educational. I am a new Scamp owner and am bringing a new Casita owner along to the rally. Drive safe.
I just toured the pictures from the Scamp West gathering. How fun! I'm hoping someone will take lots of pictures to post at Lanesboro. I still haven't mastered the journey from camera to computer to posting - actually still stuck on the camera to computer step - so I'm also hoping that someone will take pictures of my little '04 13' Scamp to post. Mel has done lots of modifications (including the roof solar panels and lots of LED interior and exterior lighting) that I'd like to show off and the interior is the playhouse that I never had. Removing the table was genius and gives me a "living room" that can still be converted to dining and sleeping.
I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone in two weeks. Reminder - bring your musical instruments! It was fun playing and singing with the Kathio state park musicians.
Yes we enjoyed your input on our sing along Pete does such a good job of running the show. LouAnn and I espesialy liked the Country and bluegrass. but still like Pete,s "Protest' [as i call them] songs.As all of them do such a bang up job. Weare planning on your event July 24. SEE YALL THERE
I've always found that people with cameras at the gatherings love to teach newbies. Ask around when you're there if someone will show you the ropes on digital photography. It really is easy once you know the basics and how a good editing program works. Also, most all the phones can be setup to automatically upload your pictures to the cloud which you can then setup the cloud source on your computer and there they are when you get home!
Enjoy the gathering and if we start suddenly seeing pics from you at the gathering we'll know you found a tutor!
I have a digital SLR and enjoy it very much. However, taking pictures with my iPad and then easily loading them onto the Scamp site is very easy and fun. I shall be doing this at Lanesboro to share with all of our sweet friends on the Scamp Forum. I shall load pictures daily.
My wife and I just purchased a 1977 scamp 13 and would like to try and come up and look over the other trailers for inside renovation ideas. Are non campers welcome to visit this meet?
