Winter storage

My Scamp is now parked in its winter "nest". Got the shelter at Menard's. $400. On sale. A very good fit. I was able to back right in. I added extra stakes. See pic. The door had only 2 zippers. Called the company. They sent a new one with 3 like the pic on the box. No charge. Highly recommend this unit.
There is room to spare and I can still get in the door.

I would be afraid the snow would collapse it!

snow

We don't get snow like some and the wind often will blow it off.  We are an open prairie state. That's also why I got the round top type.  Less likely to stick.  I also intend to keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't accumulate.

We are always apt to get significant snow at times here west of St. Louis. I also do not have the property to erect such a shelter. I am fortunate to have pavement to park it on. My father in law has huge property and a Airstream I park next to. Looks like the Airsteam had a baby!
