Doug,

Doug,

The "lift" is made from a 2 inch x 3 inch ....0.180 inch wall thickness tube

I have never had to lift my Scamp. During winter it is up on jacks, and soon to be down. When on the ground, you can see the top of my tires as it sits level.

13 vs 16 foot height difference

Doug,

The trailer "lift" is to raise the low 13 ft trailer to the height of a 16 ft...take a look at my picture of my old 16 ft that is higher vs the 13 foot I have owned

I can't understand why they

I can't understand why they aren't using LED fixtures for all of the lighting. They aren't terribly expensive and are much nicer than just retrofitting LED bulbs into existing 12v fixtures.

Oh, and upgrading whoever answers the phone would be nice. I have never called and gotten any help from Scamp. Always shunted to a voicemail that is never returned. Apparently their parts department is manned by one person who works three days a week, takes a two hour lunch break, leaves early on Friday, and answers voicemail on the 30th of never. Via email they have sometimes been responsive, but when you need something in a timely manner you are better off posting here.
