Weight Distribution System for Scamp 16??

There isn't a lot of real estate on this trailer tongue- which one should I try to use?

Looks like from the apex of the tongue (where the two legs meet) to the front of the trailer is only

about 38 inches- maybe another two or three inches from there to the center of the ball.

Input? Advice?

Thanks-

also- is there some way to search these forums? I bet this was covered elsewhere! (my apologies!)

WDH

Welcome to the clubhouse!

I guess my main question is why you want one? A Toyota Tacoma should have plenty of capability to tow a Scamp 16 without any WDH. If your rear springs have gotten a bit long in the tooth on the Tacoma I'd put bags or spring helpers in to compensate rather than a WDH.

There is a real good search box mid-way down on the right on a PC and it usually is down near the bottom on mobile devices.

Tacoma

I pull with a Tacoma I don't use a WDH and it pulls just fine. Thw WDH is just more weight to add. If your pulling with a vehicle that has a short wheel base it would be a different story. I did put Sumosprings on in place of the load bumpers on the rear axle to help the rear of the truck from sagging. Took me 45 minutes and I'm not a mechanic.

Got them on Amazon.
