Towing a Scamp with a VW

In the 70s, we towed our !3' Scamp with a VW Squareback.  It had a 65hp rear air-cooled engine.  One trip took us from Portland, OR to Indiannapolis, IN and back...over the Rocky Mountains.  Besides towing the Scamp, our VW was loaded for a 3-week vacation with two kids.
