Tapping into LP tanks for gas grill

Hey folks,

In August I'm taking delivery of a 13 foot Scamp. I opted for two lp tanks. Is there a way to “T” off these tanks to run a small gas stove/grill outside the camper?

Also,  should I have an LP detector in the trailer?

I think a detector is a good

I think a detector is a good idea. Camping World sells a combination smoke and LP detector. Its about $100.00 but surely worth it. And yes, a long LP hose is available for using for gas grills, but a better idea is a small grill also available from Camping World which uses the 16 oz. bottles for grilling. Much easier and lasts a long time. We have one and use it every time we go out for grilling.
