I was working on filling my fresh water tank for the first time and decided to wait my turn at the fill port. This little solitary bee was busy filling the rivet holes with mud (and I assume eggs). Even with my rude spilling of water onto her hard work she managed to fill all three of them in a couple hours. I guess I'll have some extra guests on my next trip.

Scamps - temporary homes for many
Ewwww! I am allergic to all bug bites, especially not a fan of wasps. I noticed when I plug in, the little cover on the trailer for the cord has a gap, enough for an opportunistic wasp or spider. I stuff a little bit of paper towel around the cord, a redneck fix but it works. The first thing I stocked my Egg with was a fly swatter! I also put some Terro spider deterrent tents under the sink and in the cord storage area...a big wolf spider thought he might like camping. I am sure there are all kinds of tiny gaps for them to come in through.

It is fairly common for wasps to take up residence in the electric hook-up boxes at camp sites. Be careful! Open the cover slowly and be ready to move away. The campground operators will deal with the wasps if you let them know.
