While at the factory, the subject of axle replacement came up. I found out some valuable information. A plate is now installed in all new Scamps which makes axle replacement much faster and easier. When you take your Scamp to the factory, they will first install this plate, and then the axle. I also found the price of axle replacement is just $550.00. I cannot stress enough tha value of going to the factory for mods and Scamp improvements. I even had some work done free! Folks were there from Arizona, Texas, and near by states. It's worth the drive no matter where you live, to head to the factory for mods and improvements. And, hotel costs are free at the factory too! The hotel sits just feet behind your tow vehicle!
