Just bought a 2009 Scamp 13. I noticed some of the acorn nuts on the outside are rusty. Has anyone replaced theirs? If the bolts aren't anchored I would have to have to cut the inside liner.
Thanks

Hey BG,
I'm drawing a blank on the Acorn nuts on the outside of a 13. I recall quite a few on the interior at the top/side of the cabinets??

The outside Acorn nuts are on the door hinges. You answered your own question you will either have to slit or work a small hole in the rat fur. If you do replace the nuts. I would pull the hinge and put butyl tape between the hinge and shell. Scamp puts a slight arc on the mounting face of the hinge but it does not always match the shell arc and you can have water leakage around the screws.

You can use a Phillips screw driver and just hold the head of the screw from the inside.
