My hot water tank stinks like the rotten egg. I read I should replace the anode rods. Mine is a 2011 19 foot Scamp. We have never replaced. What should I know?

Replace anode rods in hot water tank?
If I recall, Some Scamps used rv water heaters that don't have anode rods. However, previous owners could have changed the Wh. Have you confirmed you have an anode rod? If you do and you haven't changed it since 2011 there isn't any anode rod left for many years.
Regardless you definitely need to flush it out with a cleaning wand and then let it dry out completely.

My 2017 Scamp had none. I found that the one I first ordered was too long. That fall when I winterized, the rod unscrewed from the nut. Tighten it before you install it. The picture is of the second replacement, it fit as delivered and is pictured one year old after wire brush cleaning. It's this one. https://amzn.to/3GVPV1T
