Hello,
Is it possible to remove the back of seating on the of the sofa that coverts to bunks in the 13ft Scamp? I just ordered my Scamp so I have a long wait but I am thinking about modifications all ready.
Thanks

Yes, you can remove it. We removed ours. When we picked up our Scamp at Eveland, we asked about it, and they said to unscrew the hinges where they attach to the bunk, NOT where the hinges are attached to the front wall of the Scamp. Leave the hinges attached to the front wall so that you or the next owner can reattach the bunk some day without worrying if the screws going into the fiberglass will hold tight.
Thank you so much for answering my question. It is good to know that is a viable option!

Does removing the top bunk add an appreciable amount of space ?
You only gain 2", and lose the back cushion for the couch. You then have the ugly hinge attachment showing on the wall...
