We live on Vancouver Island in British Columbia. A number of our favourite places to take our Scamp involve taking a ferry. On our most recent trip, our pull-out step came very close to bottoming out when loading onto the ferry. Has anyone else had the same experience? We may have to remove the pull-out step and use a portable RV step instead. Anyone have similar experiences?

Pull out step bottoming out on 16 ft Scamp
Mine (2016) is welded on.
If you have a bolt on axle you could install a lift kit. The type will depend on the shape of your axle.
We actually bottomed out a couple of times and decided to remove it. We have a 13 and the step isn't that tall, even for us late 60's folks.
