Oh I agree - if I hadn't happened to have stripped everything off to remove the saturated table support tabbing, I probably wouldn't have been able to spot my pinhole leak nearly so easily, because it was located behind where the board was - if I'd never removed the table I would have never seen it. I had to remove about 24" of loose fiberglass along the seam inside because there was liquid gunk/crud inside there, even though the leak was only in one tiny spot - water had obviously been accumulating in that space for a long time, and the belly band was NOT particularly "well sealed" along that section - only a very thin layer of fiberglass was glassed over the gap, the gap itself was not filled in at all... but it is now, and no more leaking from that spot :)
