Frig on propane problems

The fridge in my 13' (2021) will run on AC, DC and propane. Running on propane works well until it doesn't. I was out this week away from power. The frig lit and kept thing nice and cold. I leave it on high. Several times, though, I would notice things weren't as cold only to find the burner had shut off. Over the course of three days and nights, this happened about 5 or 6 times. Sometimes there was a little wind but other times there was no wind. Really frustrating as there's no indication that it is out, and the place to check it and relight it is outside the camper.

I assume the flame goes out and the safety system kicks in and shuts off the propane. I'm not worried about this from a safety standpoint

My home is at 5,000' and I was camping at about 8,500'. I've used it before at that altitude without problems. My water heater came with a substitute high-altitude jet but the owners manual for the frig doesn't say anything about that.

Ideas? Thanks.

Problem telling if propane fridge is even on

I hear you about that. Sometimes I've thought it was on, only to find it was not. And almost always when I go out to spark the propane, there's enough noise in the area that I can't hear the whoosh, or the sound of propane burning. I will bang away on the igniter and maybe even mess things up, if it was lit. One is supposed to be able to see the flame through the peephole, but I never can, even when it's running, unless it's dark outside. There's some obstruction in the way. But if it's dark enough, I can tell if there's a blue glow.

I'm not going to whine too much about it, because I'm just glad it mostly works. I only wish I could be more sure.

I've never been able to keep the propane lit while going down the highway, like some people with older models (mine is a 2016) have said works for them. It would've been pretty convenient to do that, to tell the truth.

Is it lit?

My fridge stays lit once it's on but it's difficult to tell when that is.  I now light it with a butane lighter.  After holding the button for an appropriate time, I check by inserting the lighter with gas on, no flame.  If the fridge has a flame, it will light the butane.  Also, an empty butane lighter is great for lighting the stove.  The spark will work for years after the butane is gone.
