We have a new addition to our Scamp family a 1998 16 ft scamp gold deluxe addition which we actually purchased on Thanksgiving day ! What a wonderfull way to spend thanksgiving having the family over for dinner and than watching the Seahawks win ..... Our new scamp "Minnie Pearl" which was named by the original owner has the front dinette , she has a full oven, birch woodwork which unfortunately has some water damage from the hot water heater and the shower drain pump backing up which we will be replacing tomorrow the upholstery is incredible was recently just redone the shell is in great condition she also has a good floor and a solid frame .... After a little fluffing up with the plumbing , curtains ect we hope to be taking her out for after Christmas ....
My Son Aaron and I are still working on our 88 16ft standard scamp and hope to have her fully restored by spring
I appreciate any tips anyone might have on the deluxe as this is all new to me .

You are staring to look like the Scamp factory in that pic! At a minimum you now qualify as an Egg Hatchery.
A warning to all, this hobby can become an addiction.........

Hi Greg ,
Yes I totaly agree with you on the addiction to these Scamps I had to stop Stephen from buying another one thankfully it was quite a distance away and after speaking with the owner decided it probably was not worth the travel time ....
Stephen put the new hot water heater in today unfortunately the factory when it was originaly done missed all the holes on the top all top rivets did not even touch the fiberglass they over cut the hole had to put large washers behind the hot water heater to hold it to the fiberglass...
