Missing 12v power on the 7 pin connector, TV is 2004 Jeep Wrangler

Jeep has the factory tow package, but the harness was missing. Ordered a replacement harness, but don't have 12v on pin 4??? Can't seem to find fuse or relay failed...anyone have this issue before, do I just run a 12v from battery and splice into harness?

A better source of information

I would find a Jeep forum to ask that question. I bet they can tell you offhand how to get power to that pin.

Jeep Forum

The Jeep Forum is a good idea, I had a similar problem with my Ford Van, I took it to the dealer to have the issue fixed.

Turns out, Ford used the same type connector as the one for the Brake Controller and the one I was plugging into was not operating correctly at the 7-pin. The Mechanic told me that the correct connector was wrapped up/hidden in the wire harness under the Driver's side foot well. He said he had a hard time figuring the issue out because the exposed connector was the wrong color according to his service manual.

Best money I ever spent at the Dealership I might never have figured that one out.

As Always,

Happy Scamping !!!
