How is output of water pump connected to water line scamp 13?

In my 2017 Scamp 13 Deluxe, the output of the water pump is attached to a white elbow that looks like it is cemented in, and the water line is then attached to the other end of that elbow, which looks to be threaded. That would mean that the water line has a female connector. Can anyone confirm that? I don't want to break the couplling to find out!

Thank you.

SHURFLO 4008

The 4008 pumps that I have run into so far have been threads in and out and the black nut just turns off the street elbow.

Can others confirm this?

Yes The picture of the pump

Yes The picture of the pump on the scamp parts pages shows this clearly.

Mine

On our 2019 13 standard the end of the blue pex tube has the female nut as you suspected. and it threads on to the white street elbow that is likely screwed on th the 1/2 inch male pipe fitting on the pump. And it all feels terribly fragile to work on.

Thank you. That's what I

Thank you. That's what I needed to know. On mine the white elbow joint with the pump is at least packed wit something if not cemented, maybe because the other end of the elbow has to point in a specific direction. I'd like to know how it all fits together in case I ever need to replace the pump.
