honda ridgeline

does anyone know if it possible to mount a scamp 5th wheel on a Ridgeline?

i know the tow capacity is enough, but the box is composite material.

Towing a 19’ Scamp with a Ridgeline

I know that Scamp put the 1st Gen Ridgeline on a list of do not use, because of the slope at the top of the bed. On the 2nd Generation, I have no idea whether or not it will work.

List

Can I ask, where can I find this do not use list? I'm in the market for a new TV.

Etrailer and Scamp

Would both be good places to ask, people are doing it, but I do not see 5th wheel rails listed for it. Be sure e trailer knows that you are asking about a Scamp elevated ball hitch and not a real 5th wheel.

No, it can't

I ordered a 16 foot last September and asked Scamp this very question. The Ridgeline doesn't allow the required hardware to be mounted properly to the frame so no, a Ridgeline can't tow the 5th wheeler. That's straight from Scamp. I have the 2nd generation Ridgeline so their restrictions apply to both, maybe for different reasons...
