has anyone added outside propane port for grill

Hi all, on my popup, I had a quick release propane port that I could attach my propane grill to. Has anyone added one to their Scamp?  I just loved this feature.

Quick Connect

I haven't done this on a Scamp yet, but do have a QC on my Escape trailer and it's an easy mod to do.

First, you have to determine if your propane grill accepts low pressure connection, some don't that have built in regulators like Coleman. I use a Camp Chef Ranger II https://amzn.to/2xilJxG which is built to add a QC connector and accept low pressure. The regulator is on the hose for the Camp Chef which you simply don't use for QC. This is the same for any device your are going to use with QC, IE my Weber Q grill was simple to remove the regulator and add QC connector, same with the Camp Chef firepit.

Here are QC connectors:

The simplest way to add to your trailer is to put a T under the regulator on the low pressure output into the trailer and then put in your QC female adapter https://amzn.to/2J41fLx into the T. The example would also give you a male QC adaptor which can be used on the grill or other devices with the QC hose.

You also would have the option of running a line off the T under the trailer to whatever location you'd want for the QC.
