We have a very active puggle who goes camping with us and needed to protect the screen door when he's eager to get outside.  The solution was two plexiglass panels cut to fit the lower screen door and held in place by turn button screws for holding pictures in frames.  We'll be adding two more panels above to make a storm door so we can use the screen door in fall and windy weather.  Pictures here
