I am trying to find out where I can purchase the crimp that was on the end of a wire in an LED light socket (921 style socket), but I don't know how to identify it.
It is the socket that is in the outside porch light beside the door of the 2017 13" models
If I can't find the crimp end, I'll have to buy the socket, but would prefer to re-crimp the ending.
Any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance,
Scott
I have used needle nose pliers in a pinch but usually try to solder it also as I dont trust the squeeze crimp I could make. Kline tools has the crimper to do several different size. The ends are tough to identify for replacement is why I usually reuse if possible

Soldering is the best fix, I found that light fixture to be junk. I wanted to change the socket but could not find a replacement, so I changed the whole fixture to the same LED unit that Scamp now uses. I also moved the switch inside so that I could turn it on without opening the door. I did find the new one to be WAY to bright even with yellow electrical tape, I now have it covered with black electrical tape and it is just a nice glow. I tried everything to get the stock light to stay dry, nothing worked. I think it may have been mounted upside down, the hitch light is the same fixture and stays dry but is mounted the other way up.
Looks like a Molex-style pin...? You can get them and the crimper on Amazon (or Mouser, Digital-Key, etc). As others have said, you may be better served soldering if you can.

We too find the new LED porch light to be obnoxiously bright and I ended up bending up a piece to act as a shade that directs the light down instead of out to the next camp sight and your eyes. In all fairness to Scamp it does work well and lights the site well but is too much for us. Does anyone know who makes the light and does it come in Amber?? The bright white draws bugs like crazy and when we open the door they all crawl and fly in to stay for the night, Amber might be less of a invitation to come and visit. Or even better would be a selectable amber/white with a two way switch giving the best of both worlds.

Mine is dreamlightingled I put two layers of yellow electrical tape on it and it was still to bright.

I may contact the manufacture regarding a replacement version that is amber or is also white/amber selectable if it becomes available

We also thought the porch light was too bright and probably disturbed our neighbors when we had to take the dog out at 3AM or somesuch. And then I had to replace the switch twice and just never did fix the front light. So when we got back from our last trip I ordered a replacement from Amazon for $10. It comes with both clear and amber lenses (not switchable), LED lamp, and has a slight downward slant that puts the output more toward the ground. While I did have to mount it differently (more screws) it is exactly the same size as the original on our 2017 Scamp so it covered well. I did fill the extra holes and put a bead of butyl around it when I mounted it. Not relevant but I also added the inside switch just inside the door, as much to keep the switch dry as for convenience. There were many lights at Amazon (I'm sure they're all Chinese and made in the same factory) that would work. This one is sold by Kahnee as Amazon part #HP423 at $10.
The OEM Scamp porch light switch never really work for me so I replace both the porch light and the work light on the front of my 2017 Scamp 16-ft SD/FB with LED unit. Have been happy with the Leisure LED Exterior Porch Utility Light, 12-V, 280 Lumen. Come with both clear and amber lens. Cost about for 2-pack about $16 at Amazon.
