is it possible to add a window type AC unit into the microwave cupboard above the fridge in a Scamp 5th wheel? It seems like the fridge vents behind this cupboard through the roof and maybe you could use this space to draw air? The power is right there for the microwave and it seems like a great idea. Anyone have thoughts or has someone already done this?

Note that the gasses from combustion in the refrigerator need to get out side because they may kill you inside. Next the water from the air conditioner also needs to get out side so that it does not rot the floor. If you do it please post pictures, others may want to follow your example. I put a radio in the space above the microwave in my 2017 16' and there was not a lot of room back there due to the roof curve. I did first inspect it with a camera before cutting any holes.
there should not be any combustion gases because the a/c will only be used on shore power, and the fridge will run on the same when we are parked. i have sealed around the a/c so i don't think gases from the propane will seep in when the fridge is gas powered. this is all new to me, i would have gone with a rooftop a/c if my trailer was reinforced and wired for it.as for the moisture, my a/c has a heating element to burn it off.
