Lippert Axle Super Lube

We picked up our 16 in Backus this spring. In climbing underneath I found the Lippert Axle sticker and see I have the easy (superlube) hubs. I found the Lippert axle owners manual on-line (Scamp provided none). The owners manual goes over major bearing and electric brake replacement items but never once mentions the super lube feature nor how to properly add the correct amount of grease. (I have a grease gun for other purposes but have never had to grease wheel bearings)

In reading other on-line searches for the answer I see where some people spin the raised wheel adding grease until its forced out the front cup and others add very little as routine maintenance to avoiding catastrophe and pushing extra into their electric brakes.

(The Lippert owners manual recommends "Lithium Complex" greases.)

(The Scamp owners manual says "Bearings should be lubricated every 5,000 miles....." AND "remove rubber cap ........... inside you will find a grease zerk.".) Not much help

I sent an email to Lippert but have not heard back.

So how much do you add? Sugestions most welcome.

Thanks & Update

Eddie, thanks for the helpful video.

I received this reply from the Lippert customer service this morning via an e-mail which seems to mirror what you contributed to my question.

"You would slow add grease until it comes out the front cup. I would just be careful doing this as you do not want to blow out the back seal. You will need to spin the wheel slowly as you add the grease. This can also just be used to add 2-3 pumps of grease during long trips. This would be the same types of grease. This will still need to be a Lithium complex grease. Thank you for contacting LCI Customer Service .......... Thank you,"
