Thank you everyone! It's so good hearing what people are doing. I'm sitting up scenarios for when I am camping alone and also with either friends or daughter and granddaughter. All these scenarios revolve around space and weather so your helpful hints are fantastic!
Hoping your adventures are wonderful,

2017 13' Bunk Bed/Big Bed
Subaru Outback 2011
We have a 13' SCAMP, basic floor plan. There is some space behind the back of the front couch. We store our foam there: totally out of the way; otherwise unusable space; not using up good closet/storage/shelf space. We also use two large pillow covers (bright red, matching the theme color of our SCAMP) into which--alongside the pillow, we stuff a sheet or two and blanket for each bed (front and rear). These are left out and used like couch pillows during the day.
Thanks mccownw! I didn't know about that unused space and I've been pondering making some pillow for back support and now it sounds like I just need to make the pillow cases. Wonderful idea!

When camping alone in our Scamp 13 standard big bed I do not use any pad on the bed. Only a sheet in a sleeping bag. The sheet, sleeping bag, and a pillow store nicely on the bed extension which is placed under the table against the back of the Scamp. Just as "Scamper Camper" does.
When camping with my wife we use a 4" foam pad on the bed and leave the bed setup all the time. In our Scamp we sit either on the bed or on the front bunk to eat, read, etc. If we need/want to sit at a table we can sit outside at a small folding table we carry (we have an awing) or at a picnic table that most camp sites have. We feel it is important to keep things simple.
Athearn2, I will be like you with keeping it simple. When I go by myself, I don't imagine putting up the table at all. I have a lap desk I use a lot at home (Like right now) to interact online, grade online, etc. And I'm imagining I will use that or a small folding table/tray I saw on Amazon. But when others come with me, I'll look into that stash spot under the table. Thanks for sharing!
