exterior solar water heater plumbing?

Hi folks. I was wondering if anyone had set up a solare water heater-better known as a plastic bag of water- and then figured out how to plumb it in to the sink? I would really love to have hot water in the sink when I do the dishes...Thanks for your ideas. PG

Hot water for dishes - alternate idea

Heat a pan of water on the stove.
Set it on a pot holder next to the sink. Add a small amount of dish washing detergent.
Wash each dish over the sink with a dishcloth dipped in your hot soapy water.
Rinse with a small trickle of water from your pump or faucet.
Set to drain in a portable dish drainer.
It works for us.

Solar Shower

You could just use a solar shower and put in a hanger somewhere above the sink for it. Once heated up outside, bring it in,  hang it and you have hot water. On rainy/cloudy days would have to use method above.

Solar Water Tank With Sprayer

I was watching a YouTube video the other day and I saw the perfect solution for you. It was an Solar water tank with a pressure pump and sprayer attached to the end of a hose (video link below).

This unit is a collapsible Solar water tank that you set in the sun to heat the water that you can then take inside to wash your dishes. It has a foot pump to pressurize the water and a kitchen sink type sprayer at the hose end.

Here is the Amazon link for the solar water tank unit in the video:

Here is the link to the video with an explanation of how the unit works.

Spot On

ManWithaVan, as always - spot on! And many thanks. My plan for solving the shower issue for off-grid/remote locations is to get one of these, plus a tiny collapsible cabana, and bingo. No need for extensive mods inside the 13' Standard. Thanks to you, this unit is in my Shopping List at Amazon, awaiting financial recovery from Christmas etc.

Cheaper, but not collapsible.

Cheaper, but not collapsible. A plastic garden sprayer - fill with water, pump it up and you have a pressurized nozzle for dishwashing or showering. The long wand portion is removable for more convenience. Paint it black with spray paint and you now have a solar water heater. On cloudy days, just add water heated on the stove. Total cost, less than $10.

This, I have to try! Easy to fill with stove water, too. What great re-imagining, thank you LyleB!! :D
