We have a 2006 16' Scamp with the bathroom in the front layout.
Our problem is that the small frosted window in the bathroom has a crank on it that cranks out the window. Over the years, the crank has given up and broken all up where the rollers are. This makes it to where we cannot put the window out now for air.
I emailed Scamp and the guy replied stating that we couldn't just purchase the crank only and that we would have to but the whole window. So, I go on the site and try to find the window. It is nowhere to be found.
I called Scamp and asked the same thing. The lady was quite rude and short. She said they don't use these windows anymore and that I would have to just search for it. She said they were all over Amazon.
This is not true. I have looked and cannot find it. We would really like to get this fixed as 1, we really need to be able to open it for air circulation. 2, with the crank not working, it doesn't allow the window to be securely tight and we are afraid it is going to fall out.
Any suggestions fellow Scampers?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
I've not had a Scamp with this particular window, but Scamp generally has used Hehr windows.
I have had good dealings with these folks, Pelland Enterprises RV Windows on parts for the screens for Hehr windows and replacement windows. I'm sure if you contact them they will probably fix you up or point you in the right direction.
Some Hehr window parts listed here as well if it's repairable.

I recently ordered one from Pelland, under $30 with shipping. The little wheels are made out of what looks to be better material. pn: h008-227. Torque operator small arm. $22.80 , shipping $6.50 . Its best to remove your screen before working on the window. The screen is released from the outside an it falls inside the trailer. The newer spring arms are mounted on the wrong side of the solid arm but they seem to work OK. Look at the pictures in the previous posts of the old and new operators.
