Has anyone had this issue? Is it easy to replace? It emptied our water tank before we knew it. Advice will be appreciated. Thanks.

Check Valve on city water connection leaks when pump is on.
We had the same issue, as my wife was filling the fresh water tank the water was being squirted out just as fast as she was putting it in.
The maddening thing about this is; I had just replaced the City Water valve to prevent having any issues with the old valve.
So, on the way out of town, we stopped by the home Depot and went to their Brass Pipe Fittings area. I purchased a 3/4" Male to Male Brass Nipple and a 3/4" Brass Cap (Note: the 3/4" fittings are Garden Hose fittings).
Now I always keep the brass cap on the City Water connection. The nice thing about this is that it also keeps dirt out of my City Water Connection.
As Always,
Happy Scamping !!!
We replaced ours because it was worn out and dirty looking after 16 years of exposure.
After replacing we filled the system with water and turned on the pump. Nothing leaked, all looked good.
Then some some idiot has the bright idea that he should bleed the air out of the system and make sure the seal will hold up against any water pressure. So the idiot pressed in the stem of the check valve letting the air out and some water. After releasing the stem the valve has not sealed since. Apparently there is an o-ring in the check valve that can't really handle any pressure from the inside of the trailer. This o-ring responds by being pushed out of its seat and then blocking the plunger from ever sealing properly.
Now, I have a brand new looking check valve that leaks and I use the same method as ManWithaVan until I can muster the time to take out the valve and re-seat the o-ring. Not a hard job, but not pleasant and requires two people if you want to rivet it in securely.
